Last month, Cheyenne International attended Convenience Distribution Marketplace in San Antonio, Texas. This three-day event consists of a national conference and one day tradeshow floor focused on connecting manufacturers and suppliers with top trading partners in their industry. Each year, CDA Marketplace is primarily focused to wholesale distributors of convenience products, making it a must-attend show for Cheyenne every time! Here is our take on this years event.

CDA Marketplace hosts a series of seminars targeted to distributor success. These sessions cover a variety of topics from improving ROI to navigating regulatory issues. This time allows distributors the opportunity to gain key industry insights and perspective from other players in the same field. Exchanging business knowledge and talking to others opens the door to valuable suggestions and guidance. With so many changes currently happening in the industry, being able to hear firsthand what distributors are focused on and what they are facing in the upcoming year is critical to helping us prepare for the future.

Every year, Convenience Distribution Association recognizes outstanding leaders in the convenience distribution industry. This achievement honors our peers’ continual career accomplishments and dedication to the industry. By recognizing top leaders, The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is a testament to strides made in the industry and paves the way for further innovation.

We all know the importance of networking and CDA Marketplace is the conference for just that! With a large number of attendees each year, it is the perfect place to meet, network, talk business and catch up with industry friends. During the duration of the conference, Marketplace hosts multiple networking events where attendees and exhibitors alike can connect and expand their contacts in an environment dedicated solely to the convenience products distribution industry.
Industry support is important.
As a manufacturing company, it’s important to support the whole supply chain, distributors included. Attending CDA is a great way for us to interact with some of our customers and hear directly from them their challenges and successes. Doing so gives us broader access to new and valuable information which, in turn, we use to better support them.
