Simmons Named a Top Woman in Convenience

For the seventh year in a row, Convenience Store News has recognized and awarded outstanding women who make an impact in the convenience industry and Cheyenne is proud to announce that one of our own, Gina Simmons, Director of National Accounts, has received the accolade. Realizing that there are multitudes of women who bring value in this arena, CSN’s Top Women in Convenience program aims to recognize all levels of success. In early 2020, nominations opened for spots in the Woman of the Year, Senior-Level Leader, Rising Star and Mentor groups. Industry peers submitted nominations and candidates were reviewed by the Top Women in Convenience Advisory Board along with the Network of Executive Women. After careful consideration, the judges chose a handful of standout females. Five were chosen as the Women of the year, 21 as Senior-Level leaders, 23 as Rising Starts and 4 as Mentors. Each of the winners will be inducted as 2020’s Top Women in Convenience and will be honored at an awards gala in October at the 2020 NACS show. Again, congratulations to our Director of National Accounts, Gina Simmons, on being named one of the Top Women in Convenience.
