Josie Barger Named Top Woman In Convenience, Rising Star

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news! Our very own, Josie Barger, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Manager at Cheyenne International, has been named a Top Woman in Convenience by Convenience Store News!

This prestigious industry award honors women who are making extraordinary contributions to the convenience retail space, and if you’ve ever worked with Josie, you know this honor couldn’t be more well-deserved. She’s been with Cheyenne for seven years and has completely redefined what it means to be a CRM Manager. Her role may not be customer-facing in the traditional sense, but the impact she makes resonates across every touchpoint of our business, from distributors and retailers to our internal teams and adult consumers.

Her ability to harness the power of data and technology has dramatically enhanced the way we operate, and the impact of her work can be felt across the entire company. Josie has led major projects that have made us more efficient, more effective, and more connected.

Beyond her professional achievements, Josie is a beloved team member and a natural leader. Her work connects Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Manufacturing – you name it – and ensures we’re all working smarter, not harder. She’s also constantly recognized by her peers here at Cheyenne, often being nominated (and previously winning!) our internal Bill Award for her leadership, passion, and positivity.

This win is extra exciting for another reason: Josie is now the third woman at Cheyenne International to receive a Top Women in Convenience Award!

• Gina Simmons, our National Accounts Manager, has won twice, receiving the award back in 2020 and again in 2023.
